We are delighted to kick off the 2025 Consumer Culture Theory Conference with a Welcome Reception at Science Gallery London, King’s College London’s flagship public gallery from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Tuesday 24 June.
Located on the historic Guy’s Campus, just steps from London Bridge station, the Science Gallery is a dynamic venue where art, science, and health come together, making it the ideal setting to launch our interdisciplinary conference.
Join us for an evening of lively conversation, networking, and refreshments, featuring an open bar and a curated menu of gourmet skewers and sides.
We look forward to welcoming you to London and beginning the conference with connection, creativity, and community.
Attendance is included in the conference registration fee.
Easy & Fun Directions: Bush House to Science Gallery London
By London underground:
- Walk to Temple Station (6 mins) from Bush House. Head south toward the Thames—enjoy the views! Take the Circle Line from Temple to Monument (4 stops, ~6 mins) and only £2.80 using an Oyster card or contactless.
- Walk to Science Gallery London (12 mins) Exit Monument Station and stroll toward London Bridge. Follow signs to Great Maze Pond, just by King’s College London.

- Walk to Charing Cross station (12 mins) from Bush House. Get any National Rail train to London Bridge (7 mins).
